The hosts, Mahesh and his family, were incredibly welcoming and made our stay feel more like a visit to a friend's home rather than a standard accommodation. The cozy double room was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a stovetop for those late-night snack cravings and a refrigerator to keep our drinks chilled. Every morning, we indulged in a delightful breakfast that offered a wonderful blend of buffet and à la carte options - trust me, you don't want to miss the local delicacies! The peace of the riverside setting provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation, complemented by the warm hospitality that made me feel so at home. A big shout-out to Mahesh for guiding us to some local fishing spots; it was such fun! If you're looking for a charming getaway that combines comfort with an intimate touch of local culture, I can't recommend Bekal Village Homestay enough. Plus, with Mangalore International Airport a comfy distance away, it's an easy escape for anyone craving a serene retreat.
